I like that they get along crappy like that. Because it's in character. I never would doubt the squishy's writing, but I can see where one might be tempted to just make them all into one big...relationship smoosh where they all get along NO PROBLEM or whatever. And maybe eventually they do (although I doubt Riku/Alex would ever stop snarking at each other) but certainly not right away. And I love you for it.
