That is a good idea, though; in general I would want to keep like, actual developments in the sense of "we're stuck here in this place and can't get out" feeling that a lot of RPs have--probably I'd try to swing the invitation posts as a place where characters can interact ICly--get to know each other, react to the weird decor and the invitation, and in the end, if there were too many people interested, those people are allowed to "leave," while those involved in the game have to stay and play things out.
