Because OMG HEE TIM BURTON'S NEWEST ANIMATED FILM. The Nightmare Before Christmas continues to have this gigantic soft spot in my heart, because man, the first time I got it, I watched it something like eight times in a day -- and I STILL glee over it, now. It was my favorite level in Kingdom Hearts, and I was wibbly-ecstating when friends got it for my birthday♥♥♥♥

So, uh, yeah -- Tim Burton's animated stuff = Terra go wibbly. The fact that this is coming out on Halloween next year makes me gleeful♥

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory looks like tremendous fun, too.

Tonight, obviously, is a night of trailer-watching, in a halfhearted attempt to forget that my Imminent Doom is this Wednesday. (Pchem midterm AUGH.) Inspired, naturally, by Sean sending me the first link.

My prayers have been answered! With all this computer-generated stuff we have now, I was resigned to the notion that we'd never have another clay-mation movie ever... which of course made me very sad, as clay-mation has always been the most intriguing method of production for me (as a kid I used to want to be a filmmaker), plus The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favourite movies as well...

So DUDE. That rocks. *spazz*

I also found out that there's another Wallace & Gromit movie coming out this year, too... *squee*

:D :D Dude, Nightmare was one of the bestest movies ever. [/HUGE FREAKING BIAS] So I'm really excited that Tim Burton's making another one, in the same kind of creepy mood/feel that Nightmare was in.

Plus, YAY for Wallace & Gromit, too! :D :D Animation will always hold such a place in my heart. ^^
