I have no clue what to think of that. Bad pick up lines are bad enough. I'm afraid I would have punched him. ;-; Either that or I would've accepted his apology because I was so confused, which is kinda just as bad. I think you handled it very well!

...he sounds mentally challenged. No seriously. Or at least I'm hoping that's what he is, because if there's relatively intelligent people running around doing stupid crap like that I'm going to cry.

I was so shocked that I couldn't even accept his apology, such as it was. >_> My only real thought at the time was "BUH?!" and he seemed SO insulted that I didn't say it was okay or anything.

And I don't know if he was mentally challenged or not, though from the minute or so of interaction I had with him, he seemed fairly together, except for the whole implied "how DARE you not ACCEPT my APOLOGY?!" thing.

I'm just really glad it happened in public in the daytime, haha. I'd like to think my survival instincts are better than reacting with dumb shock if this happened in more unpleasant circumstances. >_>

He didn't deserve to have his apology accepted anyway. Jerk. I'm sure if it had been in different circumstances though, you would have had been more alert and would have reacted differently. Somehow having weird stuff like that happen in broad daylight makes you act more 'buh?' than you normally would, because you wouldn't expect it in a million years, so you wouldn't be on guard against it. ...or at least that's how it is for me!! I'm very alert at night or in sketchy areas of town, but around my campus?
