I gotta be honest, though: most people don't seem to like the gameplay. The battle system IS a bit slow and clunky, and things get kinda repetitive after a while. It's also rather short -- I think I finished it in about 10 hours on my first playthrough. But the setting/atmosphere is gorgeously creepy, and the story is pretty neat for the most part. I'd say it's worth playing at least once if you're a Heian-era Japan/folklore nut and can overlook the potential gameplay issues. And you'd be getting it for free, anyway. :D

!!! Seriously really you would? Oh man, if you really mean that, I would LOVE to have the chance to play it -- if it's a short game, I'm sure I can overlook the gameplay problems; the reason I want to is that I have this gigantic crush on Heian-era Japan (and Abe no Seimei orz), and I LOVE the folklore that so often comes up in that time period -- so! YYYYYY PLZ? :DDDDDDDDDDD
