I gotta be honest, though: most people don't seem to like the gameplay. The battle system IS a bit slow and clunky, and things get kinda repetitive after a while. It's also rather short -- I think I finished it in about 10 hours on my first playthrough. But the setting/atmosphere is gorgeously creepy, and the story is pretty neat for the most part. I'd say it's worth playing at least once if you're a Heian-era Japan/folklore nut and can overlook the potential gameplay issues. And you'd be getting it for free, anyway. :D
