... but at least the ride won't be bumpy, what with all the good paving. :D This is as much Sharky's fault as mine. We were talking about Discworld, then Tolkien, and then dwarves, in which I had the image of Cheri meeting Gimli. Er.
I think it would be good to "flex" my comedy-writing muscles, so to speak. Don't expect much coherency of plot here, at least not until I've written several and we've gotten something going.
The story is/will be set after Jingo and The Last Continent for Discwolrd (according to the fanmade timeline floating around the Net, those two books should've happened in the same here), and after Aragorn's coronation as King of Gondor for Tolkien.
... we are so going to hell for this. I'm almost sure of it. :3
