(In all honesty, I'd forgotten today was Valentine's day till after my second class, when I was walking to lunch. "Why do all these girls have flowers? ... oh, wait." And then all the people hawking Valentine's Day wares out on the HUB lawn. Me? I signed a petition to make sure our janitors get decent health care.)
I have discovered that stupid people live in our neighborhood -- or, at least, irresponsible people who don't really seem to understand that if a dog gets out once, he'll do it again. I nearly had a heart attack when I got off my bus and saw this big ol' cute black lab mutt cavorting in the traffic of 45th. (For you non-Seattlites, it's a busybusy street and the transfer point for two buses and everything. I ended up helping the manager of Pudge Brothers Pizza wrestle the dog into his car so he wouldn't be running around like nuts in the busy intersection. U_U
'Course, then I got home and OUR dog was being bratty, but he's cute, so I suppose he's forgiven. (I am still vastly amused that the trainer said to treat him like a "bratty five year old with ADD.") I find I quite enjoy living in a house with beasts, even if one of them treats me like I'm the dirt beneath his pretty white paws and the other one just got booted in the head (by accident, via being In The Way) and came over to me going OMG MOMMY HATES MEEEEEE SHE KICKED ME T________T
Read chapter 44 of the FMA manga last night. OH. MY EFFING. GOD. I still vastly envy the way Arakawa-sensei manages to pull all these elements together, and the sheer impact of characterization. *_____* Also, ye gods and fishes, Havoc is so in need of love that it hurts. I want to write like this, but for now, I'll settle for squeeing like the mindless fangirl zombie drone that I am. (ph34r)
... and now my housemate has just finished making brownie cakes for all of us. OMG. FEEL THE LOVE, PEOPLE, FOR IT IS ALL-CONSUMING.
