Work remains awesome. I really hope they hire me permanently. 8D
Points:
1. Wow, did Kinoshita REALLY BLATANTLY reuse designs when she went from MaLoki to tactics. I'd always known that, but I didn't realize how much until I was rereading MaLoki Ragnarok 2 and realized that, dude, Utgard-Loki is totally Kantarou. It's the whole very youthful face + same hairstyle, and Utgard-Loki is the "silver-haired Loki," after all. (Freyr also looks somewhat like Haruka but not, I think, to the same extent. Because seriously, damn.)
2. Even rereading, the main plot still kind of eludes me. I sometimes feel like Kinoshita had INTENDED for a different story, but something or other distracted her and it became ... fillercrack. I hear she's got a new series coming out at some point with Blade Magazine, but I'm leary about reading it, because at least when she's writing by herself, she doesn't seem to be able to carry a story beyond its surface potentials. 8D;
2a. Why, when I actually am not a fan of hateslash, do I want to find Heimdall-->Loki (but not enough to venture to FFnet, because I fear to tread there)? Maybe it's just the fact that I'm disappointed that we never get to see Heimdall's adult form.
3. Despite that, Yamino and the rest of Loki's kids are very cute. It's too bad there was no Slepnir, s'what I'm sayin'.
4. The cat takes it as a personal offense, it seems, when I nap. I close my door for an hour and he's crying and wailing and scratching -- but now that the door is wide open, he's off sleeping himself on the couch. If I were a bad person, I would go badger him.Maybe later.
5. You CAN hear Tamaki in Riku. It's a serious Tamaki -- not the quasi-serious he gets when he's being dramatic, more like the Tamaki when he was talking with Haruhi about her mother, but before he got embarrassed and spazzed out. (--it's probably good Riku had no scenes with Aerith, because I probably would have had to give up laughing.)
6. ... Juupon Anime!
