(Well, okay, that's a lie. It just sounded catchy.)
However, TODAY'S LESSONS ARE:
1. I'm still doing that honesty meme, only at this point? If I DON'T know you well enough to give you an honest opinion about you, I reserve the right to make stuff up. Zombies, pirates, and/or Mothra may or may not make appearences. I find that's a lot easier than saying "why don't we get to know each other a bit more, and I'll do this meme again in a year or so?" XD;
2. Satsumas are weirdly catch-able. I don't know what it is, exactly, but I can toss bigger objects in the air and completely miss them, but 9.5/10 times, I will catch a satsuma. This is a theory that has not yet been verified when someone else throws it, but seems to work for myself.
3. I work with a bunch of NERDS. I missed my chance to throw balls in a cup, but there was a strange sort of morale-boost from listening to the managers hoot like college kids over their game. XD
4. It is exceedingly difficult to try and write fic set in the future of your own canon, where YOU know pretty much everything that's happened up to that point, but you also know it'll be told in its own story, and thus you really shouldn't try to spoil it. It's also sort of weird, because I can't just say [A] went and did this and [B] reacted like that and [C] told them both to shut up or else people look at me funny. T3T
5. I'm watching Avatar! From the beginning! And now I realize that the handful of episodes I caught years ago must have been from the first five, because so far, I feel like I've seen everything before. XD There are parts where the dialogue feels a bit too stilted and forced, but you know, for a "kid's show," I'm pretty damn impressed. :Db My love for animation of all sorts satisfies me.
6. Apparently, I find spiked mango juice hilarious. I haven't had any, but the deadpan delivery of Coworker A ("they've spiked the mango juice :|") made me giggle, possibly inappropriately.
7. FRIDAY, ILU! (Not a new lesson, but one that bears repeating. ♥)
8. I wanna wriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite but I don't know whaaaaaaaaaaaat. [whinewhinewhine] SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO. :(
Edit: 9. Another Reason My Boss Is Cool: "You're writing something with pirates? It should have ninjas. They could be, like, alien fish ninjas. FROM THE FUTURE. And as part of the revenge of the pirates, they could make them into sushi. 'This is delicious! What is it?' 'Oh, just a secret recipie.'"
