For the record, I was honestly surprised to show up on fanfic_hate--not because I think I'm "better" than anyone else by a long shot, but simply because I thought at this point, I was too obscure and out-of-the-way for people to remember and hate. XD;; It's been months since I've either posted in a public comm OR updated my website (oh, god, I've really got to get around to that >_>), and even when I did post in comms, it was when the fandoms were new-ish and relatively small; seeing my name actually THERE threw me for a loop more than anything else. XD;;; Though, yeah, given what a wuss I am, I'm glad my subthread turned out as it did, and that "boring" was the worst insult I got. That, hopefully, I know where the problem lies and can work on fixing that. [grins]
But, yeah--on the one hand, I'm more for bitching in private, but that's MY thing, and as I've said, I do understand the desire for a public forum to gripe. Sometimes, it's more cathartic to complain in public. Am not keen at all on the author-bashing, but the mod does seem to be keeping an eye on things to keep them from going too far, which I think is about the most you can really ask for, in a hate-thread. [shrugs]
