Okay so! What I had been doing forrrrr ... a few months now, was skipping lunch so I could leave work early. It was nice! I liked it! But I finally got called on it, so after today, I have to go back to actually taking my lunch. Which is sad because I can eat in fifteen minutes and be done. Sigh. This has given me cause to start looking at my schedule again, and try to faff around with what I can do with it.
CURRENTLY:
Bedtime @ 12:30
Wakeup @ 7:15
[assume half an hour for getting ready/getting to my bus]
Bus @ 7:48
Work @ 8:20-8:30
Leave @ 5 (this is what I should be doing, from now on)
Home @ 6
This is about 6 hours, 45 minutes for sleep. NOT IDEAL, but I'm a night person and if I have my druthers I will stay up.
I AM THINKING:
Bedtime: 12-12:15
Wakeup @ 6:50 [maybe 6:45?]
[assume 20 minutes for getting ready/bus]
Bus @ 7:17
Work @ 7:45
Leave @ 4:30 (what I am doing at this time)
Home @ 5:30-ish
This gives me 6 hours, 30 minutes of sleep, IF I am good (though if I get used to this schedule it will be easier for me to keep it). It gives me less time in the morning, but since I've started packing my lunch the night before and I dress fast, I can in fact be out the door in less than ten minutes after rolling out of bed. I NEED TO ASSUME ~20 MINUTES FOR WALKING, THOUGH, because I walk slow in the mornings. :( And I don't know if that will exactly be my arrival time, since I've never gone to work that early and things are subject to flux because I take the bus.
HOWEVER--assuming this, I am essentially trading ~15/20 minutes of sleep a night for ~15 minutes overtime, or 15 extra minutes to get to the bus stop, or whatever. PROBABLY for the rest of this week I am going to experiment with this new schedule and see how it goes, though if people have input, that would be nice. |D
