Singing robots? Haha, it's a voice simulation program, emphasis on singing! Various seiyuu provided voicebanks for these programs (each new voice has a character designed to represent that voice), and then people write songs and have the programs sing them. It's a pretty healthily-popular subculture on Nico Douga; there are weekly rankings and everything, and a group of people who fandub the robot songs (some of these people have even gone pro, which is the coolest part for me).
