I'm going to assume this is genuine, and pre-emptively say I WANT.

Thing is, since my musical experience is in such a narrow range, it's surprising that I actually recognized all the people involved. (Well, other than Tori Amos, at least.) And very likely I will forget about this in a few weeks, only to see it posted about somewhere on my flist when it's released and go O YA HAY THAR.

But dude, there's apparently going to be a song based on Wolves in the Walls. I am so there. XD

I would totally assume that's genuine. Patrick's good at getting that kind of thing together, even when it sounds like he shouldn't have the clout for it. ^^

It's genuine, unless I'm having false memories here, Neil mentioned it

Yup, it's definitely real. Neil mentioned it a while back on his blog.

I just got sent the Dave McKean cover of the CD of songs inspired by stuff I wrote, "Where's Neil When You Need Him?", and it looks most wonderful, and very Dave McKeany. I'll put it up here next time...

Hiya, me again. ^^
This looks neat. *_* I don't recognize anyone listed other than Tori Amos, but it's still a CD of songs based on Neil Gaiman stuff. Which for me = want.
Methinks I might add you to my friends list, if you don't mind?

In which I fangirl over music~!

Yes, Neil mentioned it the other day in his blog! I'm totally excited! I really like some of the bands that are going to be on it! Rasputina is doing the Coraline song, which I'm sure will be awesome. I've only heard a little of their stuff, but I like what I've heard. I've been passing around Rasputina's "Sign of the Zodiac", which is dark and eerie and I am totally in love with. If you'd like, I can email it to you! ♥

Hungry Lucy is the band doing the Wolves in the Walls song. I like them, too! You can hear some of their stuff HERE (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/102-7155703-4196923?%5Fencoding=UTF8&dym=0&search-type=ss&index=music-dd&field-browse=468646&field-keywords=hungry%20lucy). (You'll need to be logged into Amazon to download. But it's free!)
