Huzzah~! I'm so glad this works, especially since man, the whole idea of the cornerverse was a HAPPY ENDING that could still comply with canon, and one gets the feeling that no matter how "settled" Axel becomes, he'll still never be anything but prickly and snarky. XD
And actually, that is the very I meant -- the very first cat I can consciously remember was very old and very solemn, and nicknamed "Baker" because his favorite thing to do was sit on the most available part of the nearest person and knead. So as kids, we always called it "baking" whenever a cat did that.
