The only other FF game I've ever played is 9, though I've watched parts of 10, and I've seen the intro for 7 and the final boss for 8. XD; ... I'd also note, however, that in spite of all of this, the main reason I got a PS2 was not to play Final Fantasy, but for Disgaea.
Honestly, I liked Van and Penelo best, because they sort of exemplified what I like to see in characters, something human and accessible; Ashe and Basch and the others were like nobility in chariacture, and Balthier ... to be honest, Balthier annoyed the shit out of me at first, and while he grew on me, I never really found him terribly interesting, even with all his past? Which might be my problem, but. XD; I liked Fran, though! Fran, Van, and Penelo.
I used to watch Stargate! A friend in high school had the first three seasons, and I watched them with enough entertainment, though along the way I got distracted? But with Doctor Who at this point, I'm still loving the whole thing♥ The Doctor's incredibly cute, Rose LOOKS like a ditz but is actually impressively smart, and wacky misadventures are totally up my alley. XD
