I totally agree! I don't dislike the game at all, I like it a lot more than many games I've played--if I made a list of favorites it'd definitely be on it somewhere. But the human element just wasn't strong enough to leave much impression on me... Maybe it really was just that there wasn't anything in the characters to relate to, but I think they could have done a lot more to get me to relate to them...I felt like they could have done a lot more with Basch, for example. He went through so much shit and he was still so loyal--couldn't we have gotten more into his head maybe? Some emotional pain and turmoil? Even just more of what he was thinking?? Same for everyone, really. Yeah, if you to speculate on what's there it can get really interesting, but then that isn't the game--it's you making stuff up. Which I can totally do, but then it's like I'm doing their work for them! I don't judge other series by their fan theories/speculation/fanfiction, so I don't see why they should factor in here. It's really just kind of frustrating to me that there isn't more there, more than if it was a game I simply didn't like.

Running around killing things makes me happy. XD I guess my favorite types of games are sort of RPG-adventure blends, but the more story the better... If I had my Okami save data, which I don't since it's at home, I'd be playing that too. I started off on turn-based a while ago, but I don't think I can take it anymore. Not unless the story and characters are incredibly interesting, and they're rarely that amazing. I'd rather run around chaining combos together in Abyss anytime!

Comedy to hide impending pain IS THE BEST. Man it hurts so much XD;;; And bad drama is FUNNY so of course I'll forgive it! XD
