Dear people:

I actually do not like pulling bitchface on anyone, for any reason. I seriously don't; it makes me feel rude and unpleasant, when I have to do it for real. (Joking is another matter, but joking always is.)

On the other hand. Sometimes it's a necessary thing. I will be entirely cheesy and say that it's actually because I really hate the idea of a top-priority work-on-immediately issue not getting addressed because my shift starts at 9 and the request came directly to me at 8:30; I hate the implied breaking of a promise I make because I'm not there. Of course, then I find out that I'm not the first person this has happened to (well, I knew that, but I didn't realize it was still going on fairly often), so I sent off some mails and now I feel vaguely upset because I feel sort of like I've been a raging bitch for an honest mistake, but. You know.

Bitchcakes.

I'm going to Starbucks. >_>

I don't care if it was an "honest mistake" -- that shit isn't cool. What if you'd called in sick? No one would've seen it, no one would've fixed it, and it wouldn't've gotten done.

They should know better than that.
