It's amazing, when you go through your old files and find a whole bunch of Stuff You Forgot All About. *laughs* I mean, there's even that ooooold old YYH/FoR crossover that I started fish knows how long ago.
... actually, it's kind of embarrassing. ^_^
This particular ficlet snip, though--if my memory serves, I started it way back after watching Lost Universe the whole way through the first time. Which places it circa summer 2001, meaning that it's almost-but-not-quite crap. *laughs* I kind of want to work on it again!
Ah, well. Regardless if I do or not, it needs reworking. Before I actually work on extending it, I should try fixing what I've got, first. Eh. It takes place a little over two years before the series begins--Kane is a few months shy of his eighteenth birthday, and Millie has yet to come into the picture. And there's Jess, so if you don't know who Jess is ... er. He's cool. :3
