Woooooo. XD

So, earlier this evening, I got to watch seraphic_jen's brother play some of Silent Hill 4. OMGWTF IS UP WITH THOSE CABBAGE PATCH MONSTERS?! I don't think we would've been as traumatized if, say, they didn't suddenly appear out of nowhere and start charging, but as it was, even Steve was Not So Happy and freaking out a bit whenever they showed up. XD;; I ended up making them both walk me back, because dude -- am SO not eager to go down the forested dark trail all by myself. XD;;

Anyway, we FINALLY have a hpone again in our room, which is good. XD; Those of you who know my number are free to call whenever; those of you who need my number, e-mail me, though the dorm number's the same as always. XD This MAY be the year we cave and get me a cell phone, because I'm sure Mom's doing the omgomgomg WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER IS SHE DEAD OR WHAT? T________T thing while I've been unable to call. XD;

Also, um. What the hell is up with the American Juon they're making? o_o Unlike the Ring, it looks like they took chunks of the Japanese movie and refilmed parts to reflect the American actors they picked up. I mean, the main character is now very much blonde Sarah Michelle Geller, while the little ghost-boy (who scared the shit out of me, thank you VERY much) and the creepy woman crawling down the stairs are very much Japanese and from the original movie.

Granted, I didn't even know they were remaking Juon in the first place, but given how popular The Ring was, I shouldn't be surprised.
