Woobity! [does the hooray good day boogey]
So, last night I log on and
sjen promptly blames me for getting her into Tactics. (Why this is my fault it's still not entirely sure, but hey, I'm all for converting friends into fellow fans. :D) From there, I went over to her apartment and we ended up marathoning a good eighteen episodes in a row. It was five a.m. and the birds were chirping and the skies were pale by the time I stumbled to bed. Saddest part is that I got my usual amount of sleep (six/seven hours), but because everything got shifted back by a good three hours, I'm still a bit woozy-sleepy. XD
... it doesn't help that the cat is snoozing on the couch behind me again. Nature has no greater sedetive than the sight of a sleeping cat.
Saw Batman Begins today, too -- my five-point no-spoiler summary:
1. The beginning's a bit choppy, but then it smoothes out and gets much better. Later directing shots are totally kickass.
2. Christan Bale = teh awesome. Naturally, same for Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman, but the surprise (for me) was the guy who played Dr. Crane -- I was very impressed with him. He's got big bright bright scary blue eyes, the likes of Elijah Wood wtf.
3. I love the showing of how Batman gets his gadgets and sets everything up. Woo. HAHAHA CAR.
4. To go with the actors -- I especially liked Gordon in this. He was kind of like a kicked puppy who was so proud of doing good in the end. XD
5. Good movie! Worth the price of the ticket, and a lot of fun! I was quite impressed, and yay explosions. XD
Also, in the previews? OH MY GOD CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY! I loved those books so much as a kid, and getting to see it redone (never did like the original movie XD;) with my favorite director and Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka = RAWK.
