I feel like, now that I've actually got icons (and am slowly but surely filling up the spaces♥), I should update more often. Eheh. XD
Yesterday was awesome, if tiring. XD Lunch at the Ram with the writer's group (oh my god, decent burgers, how I've missed you *__*), Office Depot (oh my god the shiny shiny flatscreens are so cute♥), Barnes & Noble (I AM RECLAIMING MY CHILDHOOD! [hoardes her brand shiny-new copies of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator]) hanging out at
sigelphoniex's posh pad for writer's group and an impromptu karate lesson which was hilarious to watch. XD And then home and rewatching an episode of Firefly, writing, and then general passings-out far later than is probably healthy. XD
And you know, it continuously amuses me to see or hear "familiar" people in different roles. My wonderful and wise senpai,
sjen found me a bunch of Matsukaze Masaya songs, including one that was a duet with Sakurai Takahiro. All that's listed in crediting is 'Vie Durant.'
... is it just me, or did it come from that really weird gawdawful vampire not-really-anime thing where the "animation" was like something out of a PC dating sim, where it was a lot of pretty still shots and the voices overlapping that? I did a little bit of searching, but all I came up with when googling the title was a) a porn site (apparently, "Union of the Wolf" is a sexual position? AUGH MY EYES XD;;), several sites in Japanese, and one site that apparently got it mixed up with that one Sanami Matou series with werewolves and vampires and the guy who changes into a girl whose title I have TOTALLY forgotten. XD;
But the point is, the point is, it's really damn funny for me to listen to, especially when writing Tactics fic with Haru. 8D It's this grand and dramatic-cool song in the usual anime vein, and I like it now that I've gotten over the fact that it originally made me giggle a lot -- but, but, it's Haruka and it's Raikou and they're SINGING TOGETHER about LONE WOLVES AND BEING ALONE AND STUFF! LIKE! THAT!
This is kind of like when I found all those boyslove drama last summer (... I think it was last summer, at any rate ...) with all these seiyuu I recognize from more mainstream anime I watch, and left my poor little brain in broken pieces all over the place. 8D Especially after you've just watched a series that stars one or more of these actors -- it's kind of like, nooooo, when I told you to molest him, I didn't mean LIKE THAT! I mean, this constantly amuses me, no matter what, but there are times where it's funnier than at others.
Tomorrow, jury duty! Today ... being a bum♥ SOMEONE SAY HI AND LET ME HARASS YOU AS ENTERTAINMENT.
