The best things in life are dorky

Or, older fandom fangirling part the second!

So, today I went to Kinos with a gaggle of people (a gaggle of fangirls?) and bought ... eh, probably more manga than I should have, but in my defense some of it was a combined Christmas/not-really-birthday present for sjen. I did pick up volumes 32 and 33 of GetBackers, but mostly I tore through them hoping that Amon would be in at least ONE of them.

He was in volume 33 and I had a moment of sheer dorky stupid fangirl squee, right there in the Uwajimaya food court. XD Love is greeting your potential comedy duet partner (after you've been DEAD FOR TEN OR SO VOLUMES) by a smack on the head with a big paper fan. When it's followed by chibi dancing, hey, how can one top that? XD

Also, I think that if I were given a choice of all the abilities/powers in GetBackers to learn or emulate, it would definitely have to be Kadsuki's. Because, you know, willowy girlboy that he is, sometimes I think he may be able to godmod his powers more than Ban does.

Much as I've been laughing about porn these past few days with people, I really think that dorky friendship (or on the flipside, being kickass cool) is the best way to go. |D I actually thought the emotional part of the reunion was very nicely understated, when Emishi decides it doesn't matter how or why, it's just that Amo-yan is back♥

Plus, Emishi should totally stop wearing his hair up in a ponytail. His attractiveness level goes up something like 1000x when it's down. D:
