Woooooo. |D This is my liiiiife. (I.e., this is mishmash remix.)

I think I need new shoes or something -- I've had brand-new pairs of socks worn to having gaping holes in their heels after wearing them only two or three times, and that's just never fun to walk around on. >_> Also, my shoes are getting sort of towards that soles-peeling falling-apart stage that generally signifies the end of a long life, in shoe-years.

Have also been encroaching upon the pad of [livejournal.com profile] maho_kiwi and [livejournal.com profile] laylah to play Digital Devil Saga. It is oddly compelling (and they are actually being very helpful because I could not navigate my way out of a paper bag with a detailed map), and I will have to find time to worm my way back in and play more. >_> (Though that could take a while, with TEST OF DOOM coming up and this gigantic textbook to try and figure out. ... at least I didn't have to shell out the $160+ for it, so hey. Small victories.)

Dinner with folks for [livejournal.com profile] miss_arel's preemptive birthday celebration, with the full party next week. (Though I suspect I will be disappearing from time to time so I can study and try not to psych myself out for the New Job starting on the 15th. >_>)

And finally, went over budgeting stuff with [livejournal.com profile] shadawyn, which has put me ... if not in a 100% state of confidence, at least I feel a lot BETTER about my upcoming money situations. I'm actually way ahead of the curve, it seems, because I'll be graduating without any student loans AND I've managed to find a decently-paying job that'll take me at least to the end of the year. >_> Nest eggs = yay.

(More distressingly, I've lost my copy of v1 of the tactics manga. D: I think I left it in the auditorium where I have my 8:30 classes, but a check of the Lost&Found revealed absolutely nothing, so ... boo. With the whole "money is an issue!" thing that's coming up, I don't necessarily want to buy a new volume when there's a chance my old one will turn up, but ... ehnnnn. Though honestly, how many people in Health Sciences will be actually interested in random untranslated manga?

... but then a lot of the used bookstores on the Ave DO take such things, so argh ...)

I have homework I could totally be getting done, but I think I'd rather sit here and hope that the internet will do tricks for me. 8D
