nekokoban: (woobity!)
( May. 19th, 2006 09:47 am)
No, I swear to gods and fishes, I'm really alive! >_> It's just a matter of getting used to things, because there is something that is entirely and ridiculously energy-sapping about sitting in a bus that's stuck in traffic. I am still not convinced that catnapping on a bus is a good idea, especially when there are grumpy-looking shoppers that come on and go >( at me because I'm ... a scraggly little student-looking thing coming from the business section of downtown ... ? I don't know. |D

HOWEVER, I'll have a new actual notebook and a pen (because for some reason, getting pencil smudgemarks on the opposite of pages -- you know? -- really bug me for some reason, and I actually use the pencilboards I get because it looks neater that way) and hopefully I will either learn to write standing up, or get a seat on my bus when I come home. |D (I may or may not be at the showing tonight, Seattle folks; let's see how tired I am and which bus I come across first.) I'm usually really bad with keeping up with actual notebooks -- since I type ridiculous times faster than I write, and when my poor hand tries to keep up with what I want to say my hand starts cramping something fierce, I usually just find it easier to jot down notes here and there, and wait till I get back to my computer to do the actual writing bits.

But if it's going to take me an hour to get home three days a week and most of that hour isn't even bumpy riding, but just SITTING, well. :p

Plus, I have a lot of stuff I need to get written. :O Birthday fics, the [livejournal.com profile] 3measures stuff since they finally got back to me, and mumblemumble. >_> I am determined to shake off the lethargy that I've been having this past week and get stuff DONE. Ou!

Which may or may not, this weekend, include my report that's due Tuesday HAHA woe.

And there's the Ave Street Fair this weekend♥ Which is fantastic because I look stupidly forward to that thing ALL YEAR, mostly so I can eat crap fairfood. X3 Especially chocolate-dipped strawberries-onna-stick, because supposedly they've got an actual outlet or wossname somewhere? but I have never found them anywhere except at the Fair. D: And then the tons of samples given out, and the one time (as far as I know?) you can find bao on the Ave. I mean, I have to transfer through Pike's Place Market now to get to work (and it seems no matter how many times go there, I'm still excited like a KID), but this is closer to home! And also has food.
