I have Disgaea 2~♥

So, I actually meant to post this last night, but I was playing and then suddenly it was my bedtime. XD

There are a few things I'm not too happy about (they've changed the format of the Dark Council, and I think once I get used to it I'll like it better, but -- bribing drunken Senators is a looooot harder than one would've expected; also, the guns can now only shoot in a straight line, instead of where-have-you), but overall, it is the same funnystupidfunny I loved in the first game.

... well okay, not AS funny, because the hero is a lot more emo and serious than Laharl, but I like his mum. XD (But I suppose we can't all be tiny prepubescent(?!) maniacal Overlords-in-training, then all the ego drowns everything.) Also, he's voiced by Midorikawa, last heard (by me) as uke boi in SURPIZE BUTTSEKZ DRAMAZ, which also sort of. Skews things. A lot. For me.

(P.S. Does anyone know where I can find a cast list for the game? Axel-the-former-Dark-Hero [whch also skews things, because he is so very different from Axel-the-Nobody] sounds disturbingly familiar, and I am positive I've heard him before, but my ear isn't that good, so I cannot identify unless you're really distinct. ... I still occasionally get Midorikawa Hikaru and Sakurai Takahiro confused, to my shame.)

ALSO THE OPENING VIDEO IS V. PRETTY (whyyyyy couldn't the Disgaea anime been like this? For serious, why?). There's like, ten seconds of a spoiler for the first game (that's assuming you get the good ending) at the very very beginning, but if you cover your eyes you can see the rest (i.e. once the music starts, it's safe): That is to say, YouTube apparently never fails me.

I think I want an icon (or something?!) of Adell and Rozalyn dancing. Because modified tango FTW, for serious.
