First, a numbered list:
1. I keep seeing those "x number of facts about me" memes floating around -- they will never die -- and I am sometimes tempted to do them, but I always end up feeling horribly egotistical. I mean, essentially we all spend half the time talking about ourselves, especially in a personal journal, but this is sort of like distillation. You're removing all the extra white noise and it's all about you you you (or in this case, me me me). So while I'm tempted, I never do them -- and yet, conversely, I love reading the lists other people do. It's like people-watching but not, because people aren't necessarily more honest in the strictest sense, but you're still getting an idea of a) how they see themselves and b) that filter about themselves through themselves, and actually I don't know if that made any sense. I still think they're cool, though!
2. My manager is not speaking to me because I laughed at his "soul patch." What, it was funny. :(
3. I'm watching Supernatural with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sjen! We've seen four episodes so far (plz to not be spoiling?) and I'm so happy -- at this point, it's living up to my expectations! I've been quietly gleeing over the spooky and the supernatural (har har); I'm SO GLAD I'm liking it. :D
On the other hand? Totally not getting the brothercest. o_o They just seem like ordinary dysfunctional brothers. Unlike some playboy characters, where you kind of get the feeling that they're TOTALLY COMPENSATING!, I'm not getting that at all from either of them. Also, I think I'm okay with that.
4. My roommate is gone for the next two and a half months. I'm going to take to talking aloud to myself just to have noise. :p And despite the fact that we're on the top floor, I still heard footsteps overhead last night. I hope this doesn't mean that zombie ninjas will crash into my room and kill me in my sleep, that would really really suck. :\

And now, for the non-bulleted portion!
( Doctor Who and the art(?!) of writing people who speak differently from you, OR see me talk a whole lot about how people talk! No spoilers, by the by )
--and now! I am going to go stare at the YamiMatsu piece that's due the 7th and hope that the spark of "OMG DO WANT" I had when I picked it up drops by again! :B
