Feeling better than last night! Thanks, guys. :)

All right, so last week, when [livejournal.com profile] rivendellrose and I went for our sometimes-daily trip to the next-door Starbucks, I ordered a sandwich. They asked me my name and I gave it, and I thought nothing more of it, HOWEVER -- when it was done and I picked it up, someone had spelled my name properly on the bag! This is kind of shocking for me, since throughout the course of my life, I've becomed resigned to seeing "Tara" whenever my name gets written down by resturant folks and such. I comment to [livejournal.com profile] rivendellrose very happily about this, and then we go back to work and life goes on.

Fast-forward to today, I get another sandwich. After I tell the lady my name, the woman at the cashier mentions that's her name too! and then spells it for me: T-E-R-R-A.

For a moment I don't really react, because haha, that's nice, that-- wait.

And the other cashier lady starts laughing and comments that she was the one who'd taken my order last week, and she'd spelled it that way because that's how she knew it was, and then the other-Terra complimented the ankh I was wearing and we shook hands.

It was more than a little surreal; I'm not used to meeting someone with the same-name same-spelling as me.

Also, another smiley-face. I'm okay with this.

In other news, I've actually written my app for the you-know-what. I HOPE YOU PEOPLE ARE HAPPY Ilu.

Tonight, I will actually try to write and post fic (NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO TELL ME NO), instead of more of this boring RL stuff. ;)
