BULLETS!
* I made my word-count for the week! I did it mostly Sunday afternoon, but I did it! Hooray. That is thirty-four (34!) weeks of this challenge done, and I am really glad I did it. I think I will try to continue it, and possibly increase the amount of words/week. I'm still not really making the whole "write a little every day," but when I do sit down and do it, I am usually satisfied with the amount that comes out. \o/
* On the other hand, I am missing writing for fandom. I miss having a fandom I could write a ton of fic for and get involved in--I thought Victorian Detectives would be it, but I am waiting for the DVD. Everything fandom-related seems to be tied up in the big bangs I'm working on, or else in challenges that I am still picking at and feeling guilty for not finishing. /)_(\ I need to work on smaller stuff again, of the less-than-15K-words type.
* Relatedly, I think I am going to do Script Frenzy! in April. (Which is run by the folks who do NaNoWriMo and is essentially "write a 100-page script in the month of April.") I need to decide what I am going to write, and whether I'm going to post it or not or leave it to interested parties, though I have a few ideas I am kicking around. We will see what percolates, and also since Sakuracon is the first weekend of April lol that will be interesting, but! I AM GONNA TRY. \o/
* Saw Alice in Wonderland on Saturday! Idk, guys, I really enjoyed it. :|a The reviews on my flist have been so mixed that I was a little worried, but I did enjoy it! I'm not sure if it would be a see-again-in-theaters, but it's one I would watch again when it comes out on DVD. Whether I'll buy it is another question, but I did like it. Most of my quibbles were small and I've mostly forgotten them at this point. Except that I agree with Jamie, I wish you'd directed American McGee's Alice, Tim Burton, that would have been amazing.
* CURSE YOU, DAYLIGHT SAVINGS, AND YOUR FALSE MIDNIGHT!! THAT WAS NOT MIDNIGHT, THAT WAS ELEVEN PM! WHY DID I HAVE TO TRY AND SLEEP. ;A;
* I really miss good Korean food. :( On foodgawker there were some gorgeous pictures of of bibimbap posted and I was like ;~; because wow, that looked good and I MISS IT. Why are there no decent Korean restaurants in Seattle? Or if they exist, why do I not know about them! Clearly either my education is lacking, or my city is. OR BOTH.
* Hello, friendslist! I do not know who all of you are, and I'm certain that some of you don't know who I am! I promise I am occasionally more interesting than this, though right now I am usually a combination between \o_O/ and B[ and :B --especially in the evenings. SAY HI. What fandoms are you into? IS THERE ANYTHING COOL I AM MISSING? I AM ALL EARS. EYES. THINGS.
