I just worked on a site for "Rooster Bush." And when I realized this, I stopped and stared at my screen for a good full minute.

So in other news, I'm still laughing about this, too. Just like the internet is a series of tubes, my life is a series of inadvertantly funny things. I'm also still a bit annoyed that none of the MAIN CHARACTERS CASTED are Asian, but. ... honestly, I'm not planning on seeing this movie anyway so.

Also, aside from the fact that they aren't Asian (which is just retarded, thx Hollywood), they don't even have a passing resemblance to the characters. o_O They're going to have to be tarted up a bit for that.

Normally, it wouldn't bother me, but in this particular case, it's sort of like -- way to to go, Hollywood, that's not how to do it. :\ And yeah, there will have to be a ton of makeup necessary just to make them look right -- part of it being that they're. Fairly generically pretty white actors across the board; Jesse McCartney for Zuko is just funny because now I am imagining him singing "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" and that makes life ... a lot funnier, if not better.

...also, what the hell, Hollywood. Not only are they all white, but none of them even bear any vague resemblance to the characters to slightly redeem the whitewashed casting choice. Oyyyyyyyyy.
Roxas as Zuko, though, that is indeed lulz forever.

And yeah, about the acting choices... eugh. At the very least, Zuko should be Asian and Katara & Sokka should be NOT PASTY. But you know, the thing about making an Avatar movie is - child actors = ALWAYS RISKY. Maybe their acting skillz will make up for lack of good appearances? :\
