XD I mean, normally, the characters are depicted as fairly modern (one of the popular depictions is that they're just performing the different songs and otherwise live in computers where they're installed and practice their songs); this is based on Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len (whether they're siblings or mirror images or whatever, ask that and you open a huge can of worms in fandom) and the others being COOL IN A FANTASY-STYLE WORLD! I am a huge singing robot fan, sob. XD
