So this is mostly a reminder to myself to send out an email later BUT IF PEOPLE SEE THIS NOW, ALL THE BETTER.
HEY SEATTLEITES! Bite of Seattle is this weekend (actually, it starts today, but I'm only vaguely hopeful of getting to go tonight too *g*)! It bills itself as "the Northwest's Premier Food Festival," and essentially it boils down to a bunch of local restaurants (including some really high-priced fancy ones) having a lot of booths where you can buy small plates of food for a fraction of their normal full-sized prices. You can eat from like five different places and be full and only spend about what you would on a meal at one of those restaurants individually. It's a really fun way to try places you normally wouldn't (and foods--last year I had aligator for the first time there :|a) and there are a number of other events that I only sort of pay attention to, since I am there for ~the food~ ohohoho.
ADMISSION IS FREE! It is held at Seattle Center, so one could either bus/walk/take the monorail there. (If the weather is nice tomorrow, I plan on the last, myself.)
ALSO: so we're trying to get the guest room of my place scraped down so it can be repainted. It has been determined that while our ambitions are great, they do not quite match up to what we are capable of. :B If anyone wants to help with paint-scraping I will repay you by feeding you. This can either be by ordering pizza or me cooking, pick your poison. I am not that bad of a cook and I enjoy it, but I am sort of self-conscious because I usually don't cook for others. BUT I AM WILLING TO TRY FOR HARD WORKERS!! If anyone is willing and able, let me know. I will ♥ you long time.
