Hahhhhh, thank you so much! :) I am still ridiculously happy with that story--it's one of the few where I didn't immediately make faces at it as soon as it was finished, which for me is pretty much an achievement in and of itself. *g* I'm happy it's still holding up. \o/
The very first line of the story, actually! I am horrible with titles, normally; they're pretty much the last thing that happens to a story before posting. *g* But I wrote the very first line of The Pale Girl in EditPad, left it for a week, then came back and wrote the whole rest of the story preeeetty much in a sitting. :|a
See, I've found that given the choice, I won't write porn--it's just not something I think of as being needed or necessary for most of the stories I have to tell; the fact that Shousetsu Bang*Bang is all about being indulgent and having fun and writing porn has been a good exercise for me. *g* EVEN IF THE "FUN" CAN BE DEBATABLE, given my tendencies to whine and sulk when I hit the scene proper. I'd recommend it if you can--it's like Imaginary Beasts in that it's pretty low-key and there's no penalty if you can't submit a story in time, and it's really fun to see what else people have written for the theme when new issues come out. \o/
Thank you!! I WILL DO MY BEST and hopefully be more productive with this coming year. *g* The thing for me is that cherry trees in full bloom always make me wish I was a better artist of the visual sort, not textual, especially with how many there are in the Seattle area.
