I've got two minutes to quittin', my dinner in my backpack, and nebulous plans to meet folks before heading down to the Barnes & Noble in the University Village. I have a credit card and (ironically?) an eye for the DVD/music section more than The Big Event itself, which should also be entertaining, since I'll be with a bunch of people in costume, and likely to be surrounded by kids in costume.

... I think little kids in costumes are cute. I don't LIKE little kids, but if they're a safe distance (ten meters?) away from me and in costume, they're cute. I also hatehateHATE seeing kids get hurt onscreen, which is weird still because I really don't like kids but what can you do.

Let's do this Harry Potter thang.

Mostly, I was excited to see the BEGINNING OF THE END -- the onset of the Potterdammerung, as it's been dubbed among my friends. XD Didn't actually get a copy of the book myself -- I haven't been able to bring myself to read it since book 5, but! I do appreciate a good spectacle, I approve that everyone's so excited over a book, and ye holy gods and fishes was the Barnes & Noble packed as all hell. XD

It was kind of awesome, till the point I started to pass out from sheer exhaustion. :D

Book five...T____T I didn't like the ending at all *emos* They changed quite a bit of it in the movie...It seems like all the chars I favor get a hard time x.x;;

But yus! You should read Half-Blood Prince! There's a lot of background info on - people. *doesn't wanna spoil* yeah <.<';;; Reeeeeeead iiiiiiiiiiiiit~!

You can totally not like kids personally and still not want to, you know, see them hurt! I mean, there has to be some protective instinct built in, right? They are juvenile human beans, after all :|b

Instinct or something -- I've been watching Supernatural, right? And there've been parts where I'm like NO NO DON'T HURT THE CHILLUNS :( at the screen, only ... I've entertained murderous thoughts about incessantly screaming babies and toddlers myself. I joke about wanting to punch babies in the face, only I think I'd cry if I actually did, because I just a little tiny thing smaller than me. ._____.

THE LITTLE KIDS WERE SO CUTE. There were baby Dementors everywhere, and a little girl who'd dressed up as Fawkes who won the costume contest and got to do the countdown to midnight (so cute♥).

Then there were my friends, who are sort of like BIG KIDS in costume, but I dunno if that counts. XD
