STATUS: NEITHER BUTTERFLY NOR DEPRESSED. Oops?
* I was tempted to do the sex meme that's floating around my flist, but I realized that was just because I wanted to answer ":)" for all the questions, regardless of whether they applied to me or not. :|a Imagine I did it anyway. /handwave
* A few days ago, I volunteered for what was, in the words of my boss, mind-numbing crushing busywork that was unfortunately necessary to get done. As a reward, he gave me a pen that records things and plays back. Along with my squid pope pen, I have a pretty cool set. :)
* oh god lunch is delicious when you eat it over an hour late ;o;
* My external hard drive is officially dead. :\ I was not able to recover anything from it--though I was lucky that abouuuuut 75% of the material was backed up in other places, and then awesome people on my flist came through for me when I asked for help. As a--I dunno, a consolation prize? SOMETHING?--my mom got me this new 500GB hard drive. It is adorable and tiny, doesn't require an external power source (I just plug the USB in!) and comes with its own little carrying case. The most amazing part is that I can now have my entire music collection at work. I am very grateful. ♥
* Sakuracon next weekend! \m/ I AM GOING HOORAY, I managed to get time off for it
* Things are slowly getting better! I mean, yesterday I had a talk with my parents about Finances And Money, and--I still worry some; by the nature of where I work, I will always worry a little till there are stronger, more consistent signs of economic recovery. But I've got things set up, and while Disasters And Doom could still happen, it's ... again, not something that's looming so horribly on my personal horizon as it used to be. I think this means I'm getting better. \o/ Even if the weather is lolarious this week.
* Someone brought cookies into work today. This pleased me, and I ate two.

On that note, I have been replaying the game--for canon-review, yes, but also because I love the game so much. :( It's honestly within my top three games ever, and while I am a little sad that there will be no sequel/expansion on what we've seen, I'm also kind of glad for it. It means I don't get jossed and it means there won't be a franchise made of something that seriously makes me cry every time I see the ending. I AM SUCH A SUCKER. Replaying (and playing Ammy now) makes me want to write fic again, or read it--but most people have moved on from the fandom, so the latter is harder to come by. I SHALL JUST HAVE TO DO MY PART or something.
* RELATEDLY TO THE ABOVE POINT: you can now buy either the PS2 or Wii versions of the game for $20. DO IT. It's worth it. :(
* Sob guys, I am really looking forward to the 07-Ghost anime. Especially if they go into a second season and animate certain parts from later in the manga. ;o;
