MY WRITING MOJO HAS DESERTED ME ;o;

obviously this means I should do a meme instead. Ilu [livejournal.com profile] inarticulate |D

a) I want to talk about how my ships and concept of shipping varies with fandom, so name a fandom and I'll discuss what I ship and what shipping means to me in that fandom.

b) I have a lot of fandoms. Have you ever wondered about one of the fandom I sometimes mention on my journal which you don't know of? Ask me any question you want about them!

MAKE ME THINK, MAYBE THIS WILL BRING MY WRITING MOJO BACK. 8(

I DUNNO IF WE ARE OR NOT. I FIGURE IT'S AT THE DISCRETION OF THE PERSON REPLYING? Except I didn't mention my horrible guilty Cain/Ciel ship but that's not strictly RP so.

SHOULD I ASK YOU ABOUT CFUD AND MAKE YOU TALK ABOUT SHIPPING THERE?

It's sort of awesome and sort of hilarious at the same time. XD

All the ships in PH is bound to be full of emo and bound to fail - even though Oz/Alice is the most likely to work out I'm still skeptic about whether Mochizuki will give any of her characters a Happily Ever After Ending. ;;b

... Break-Vincent fighty hatesex would involve inappropriate use of chess pieces and roses.

Oh, you mention something and I usually make a note and then go on my happy way until I actually read it.

Then I get kinda obsessed with it. You're on some pretty good stuff.

(That's actually how I ended up reading Dresden Files and Kuroshitsuji. Found them by accident and vaguely remembered having read something on your journal. I'm so glad I decided to read them. *crying with happiness*)

However, that's all pretty recent. So I'll ask for "The Dresden Files" here, but... If you still remember that meme you did about genderswitched characters and what would change? And you're still interested in it? I would love to hear about the female Harry Dresden. (I'm sorry for asking for it here, I am. But I hadn't read the books yet when you made the meme, and my curiosity's been nagging.)

It's fine, RL and time both have a tendency to hit and leave us wondering what happened. (I myself am somewhat late, aren't I? Sorry, I was having internet troubles.)

I want the novella. ;_; But I live in another continent so I won't get it unless I order it, and it's kinda expensive... Maybe I'll get Blood Lite though, I hear the short story is supposed to be very funny.

...This makes me think of the fancy party in Death Masks. Seeing as Susan picked the clothes, she'd have forced Haley into a dress, wouldn't she. And make-up too. And then they probably caused a scandal, flirting with each other and walking around arm-in-arm... Did it make her more wary of Marcone? Since he pretty much kidnaps her in Storm Front.

I want to buy Blood Rites just so I can read about puppy Mouse.

Also, if you're still having trouble writing, maybe reading a bit would help? I've recently been looking for Dresden fic. I found Dresden fic, Chinese Fable stile. (And bookverse, too! Well, except for Bob and some of the backstory. But still.) Here goes the ad:

The Fable of Joyful Wing by shiplizard
A fable set in Ancient China, featuring a surprisingly familiar narrator. Set in the same universe as Barry Hughart's Bridge of Birds, but not quite a crossover.
A (scruffy, smartass) sage of Peking goes to hell and back for his ghostly mentor.

I am not a rich man and I will never be a rich man, but I have been blessed by the gods with two things. One is the adopted family that I have come to be a part of over my many years, and who I could not love more if they were all my own blood, and the second is an abundance of stories.

I could tell you a thousand stories; I could tell you how Pious Sword rescued Iron Hammer Maiden from a marauding dragon, and became her husband. I could tell you how Thirsty Heart, the half-demon son of a witch, found his brother-- or how he fell in love with a mortal whose Chi was too pure for him to drink from. I could tell you how Ma Jun-heng the bandit ascended to nobility, and became the baron they call Little Tiger, or how Lightning Scar nearly killed the Dread Warlord and Slow Son had to finish the job for him. I could tell you the love story between the barbarian Sigrun and the soldier they call Red Ox. I could tell you how the silver-eyed demon named Sun Blindness led a little girl and a Buddhist Monk across the deadly desert of night, and was converted to Buddhism. I could tell you how Little Shield became the first female captain of the city guard of Peking, and what she did with the position.

But of all the stories, the one I wish to tell today is that of the faithful ghost and his bride.

I'm still trying to catch all the references, but the prose kinda reminded me a bit of your stories. So I figured I'd spam you with it. I hope you don't mind (too much).
