ETA: Maybe it wasn't good for me to get the Disgaea artbook, because I've been PLAYING IN PHOTOSHOP, and now I have a Laharl layout (using the title screen picture of him sleeping under the red moon) with lyrics to "Akai Tsuki" and it's been way too SOON since my move and new layout and I'm too LAZY to go through and recode it ALL, so.

Not that I don't genuinely love coming home, and seeing my parents, and my Austin friends and everything, but ... well, dude. School's started in Texas, and everyone's busy or gone (and even the friends who ARE still in Austin, I can't go anywhere because Mom wants to have our decks redone and I have to stay and keep an eye on the guy), and there's this sense of OMG YAY PEOPLE. Got the tuition bill, winced something awful (ahhhh, out of state rates, how you gouge us), but talked with parents a bit, and then with Seattle peeps, and it's all good.
I need to PACK, I need to double (and triple!) check that I've gotten all my affairs taken care of here (which sounds peculiar, but involves mostly last-minute health maintenence and shopping), and then ... I need to wait.
OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE PEOPLE AGAAAAAAIN.
Also, there is a man monkeyed up one of our drain pipes, and it looks like he's chopping down the tangled mass of jasmine fines that have grown up its length over the years. (Which means the damn thing grows fast, because I remembered we had to trim it when I was a freshman in high school -- mainly because the vines were invading through my windows, by worming their way under and around the sceens. XD) Monkey, monkey, monkey.
... I think I should eat lunch. :O
