Ahhhh, but it's still coming out, which means that I'm in the land of cliffhangers again!

... however, it's a JUMP series, which means that the volumes will be cheaper at Kinos than, say, EVERYTHING ELSE I BUY. Except GetBackers.

...so yeah I was totally lukewarm on the main character of Allen Walker once upon a time, and then I came out of the Doll arc LOVING HIM DESPERATELY.

Seriously, I don't know what was wrong with me! But the series love hit me full on when I realized this is. Well. Fullmetal Alchemist finding God, directed by Tim Burton, and starring the cute polite one instead of the snarly swearing one.

also I, uh, really like his hair now.

I sort of love how characters that normally keep their hair up, I always want them to take it down. Characters that normally have their hair down, I love it when they put it up. Because ponytail!Allen is just. GUH.

I just like when mangaka acknowledge the fact that, hey, while people can have a NORMAL hairstyle (up vs. down if it's long enough), there does come the time when someone will wear it different. From my own experience, I always have my hair up when I'm out in public, but when I'm home, I'm usually too lazy to bother. XD

And ponytail!Allen = whoaaaaaa. But at the same time, there's this cuteness that just makes me wanna scuffle his hair and give him a cookie. XD
