THE KIDS ARE NOT OKAY

I'm hoooooooooooooooooooooome~

Not that anyone knew I was gone, probably, but. XD I spent the weekend-till-now with harukami and mackzazzle, which was tremendously fun. :D I also met the famous smarter-than-you cat and was properly serenaded from the bathroom at one point.

However, really, the summary is probably "The Kids Are Not Okay." In summary, I was suposed to:

- Persona 3: tooootally playing this next, yay! I played very little of this, so I wouldn't have to do massive replay when I start my own copy. Will also be more careful, this time, to pay attention in class, since, uh. ... I didn't, before. :|

- Sukisho anime: I've played two of the games and listened to the first four dramas, but now the anime! ... I think I spent a lot of it laughing at Sora being a moron; the animation was kind of iffy quality, but I still laughed! I kind of want a copy of the opening song. :B

- Loveless (anime AND manga): ... I'm sorry. I'M SORRY BUT I'M ALSO NOT SORRY everyone can blame Haru and Zazzle. :( I feel kind of dirty, because cat boys and cat boys are not okay but at the same time, Soubi's kind of hilarious in all the wrong ways. Now it's just a sort of, gosh, I really would like it if Ritsuka GOT A HAPPY ENDING DAMNIT.

- Paniponi Dash: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT. NO SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HELL. (It's my body temperature, nya~) Hau hau hau.

- Air Gear: ............ so Akito/Agito is really cute and I want to read this now. This is totally Haru's fault, because she admited that she was deliberately picking and choosing the parts to show me, as to get me involved.

There was also delicious pie, conversions to the Church of Unconditional Pie, double-teaming in bookstores, and serious awesome just hanging out with them♥ It was so much fun and I am totally plotting how to get them to let me inflict myself on them again.

I ALSO FINALLY STARTED THE PHOENIX WRIGHT GAMES. I finally discovered why everyone thinks Edgeworth is homohomo. I need an 100x100 shot of Edgeworth bowing, so I can have an "Edgeworth Salutes The Bagel" icon.

I'm turning into a fandom butterfly, guys, it's weird. :\

THREE DAYS TILL MY BIRTHDAY! :D And tomorrow chirachira comes to visit! :D

Life's pretty good. :D

Awww, I've got my own stalker! You're not the creepy sort, I'm okay with it. :Db I've got all the tactics DVDs that have been released so far, but I haven't listened to the dub -- some part of me just still refuses to accept anyone but the original voices fore the characters. XD I know Vic I-can-never-spell-his-last-name was Sugino, and that the guy who did Greed for the FMA dub was Haruka, but that was about it. I happen to also have huge voice-crushes on half the cast BUT THAT IS ALMOST BESIDE THE POINT.

I'm on the fifth case of the first game now! IT'S STILL HOMOHOMO oh my god. A friend was talking to me when I first went into Edgeworth's office, and I just. Kind of stopped. And showed it to her!

"Is that some kind of lady's bedroom?" she asked.

From what I understand, Air Gear isn't as fanservicetastic as Tenjo Tenge was, and if that's the case, I should be fine -- I never got very much into that series, but it was less for the fanservice and more because it just didn't spark my interest. Most everyone else I know has told me to avoid the anime, so! I will focus on finishing up with the manga first. ... slowly, because I still need to read Loveless and have not had a chance this past week, what with visiting people and then having a guest myself. XD

Honestly, I don't know much about the story or characters past the second game -- I knew that Ren and Sei existed, but I didn't know much about them, otherwise. XD Really, I just wanted Chris to have a cameo in the anime, but it was never to beeeeee. T_T

I can understand why the fandom doesn't like Yuiko, though -- it's the same problem they have with Orihime (whom I also really like!) in Bleach. She's the busty, airheaded "annoying" girl who clings too much and is too dependant on the hero, and thus poses as an "obstacle" to popular fangirl pairings. (Never mind that I actually VASTLY prefer Ichigo/Orihime to any of the other Ichigo pairings, but especially Ichigo/Rukia.) I think Yuiko would be really good for Ritsuka (she already has been, from what I've seen) if they went beyond friendship, but ... then there's Soubi. However, the fact that Yuiko and Soubi are actually friends too is pretty awesome, I think. XD

Fandoms always want shipping. It's almost impossible to get anything else out of them. D:

I went to a con recently and Haruka, Sugino, and Kantarou's English VA's were there. I had them sign it, and ahaha, interesting stories with that. Vic was last, he just raised his eyebrow but he went right along. Vic is very very nice <3 The other two, there was this BIG autograph session and I got Chris Patton on his way out of the room.

So we all saw he was leaving, so people were asking for autographs on his way past us, and he turns to me holding out the slipcover(I've started JUST taking taking that to con, so I don't have five DVDs that don't need to be there on me all day) and he goes ".......ah, the gay demon." I kid you not XD I giggled at that, and he was on his way.

Time passes, I make my way through the line (this was a LONG line, I luckily had friends who were already standing in line, but this was like... two-three hours in line. With the line stopping whenever Scott Mcneil got up or something of that like) and I'm to the end, which is Scott. Two VAs had joined after I'd made it through their part of the line, and I thought "...maybe?" with one but that is past. So, at Scott, and as he is getting ready to sign mine I hear guy next to him talking, and it IS Kantarou's VA! I proceed to be very rude and ignore Scott while I go "Can you please sign this??" to Mr. Shepard who is happy to see a fan of the series XD I apologized to Scott after the signing was done, but I was HAPPY.

..........and what is it with cons? I start fandorking for VAs I'm normally just "they're cool :o" about XD

Yeaaaah. Just wait for later parts XD AND I GOT PREORDER WITH T&T 8D I have chibi!Phoenix for my keys <3 I had him "dance" on the DS during the last part of the last case, instead of using a stylus XD It was fun.


Eh, I'm just very picky with fanservice I think? Or I was, I think O!G got me a bit more used to it :o The anime was amusing, just- um, not good for first time people? It was good for those who wanted stuff animated, and the seiyuu's were nice, just yeah. AND THERE IS ACTUALLY A MYU OUT FOR IT, I KID YOU NOT. BY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO DO THE TENIMYUS AND UM YEAH. KenKen <3

Chris did show up veeeery shortly in the anime! It just wasn't a big part XD

Yuiko and Ritsuka are a very good pair, they just help out each other a lot. I think what people miss is that Ritsuka doesn't really want relationships. THAT is the biggest thing to deal with. He didn't want his friends, he just sorta ended up with them XD Ritsuka has been hurt a lot, and while Ritsuka is very good for Soubi in some ways, I wonder how much that works the other way. Soubi COULD be good, but I don't think he will be :/ But that's not the point of relationships, sooooo

Well, Loveless always gets called BL which makes me laugh XD It's a mystery! It just happens to have BL in it. Earthian was much more BL, looking at the two you can see Ritsuka and Soubi just have a connection. A very interesting connection, that would be fun to play with, but calling it a romantic relationship simplifies it too much I think?

I mean, I like shipping too. But the best convos I have is when I tear apart characters and think about what makes them tick with others XD
