Okay, seriously: is the internet just sort of deadsies recently? Noooooo, how will I stay entertaiiiiiined~ Or have I just somehow developed a really skewed view of how things are because my short-term memory is not unlike a gerbil on crack? I swear to fishes and cake that things just sort of ... dropped, just a little before the new year. It's like everyone went into celebratory drunken orgies early and haven't yet woken up from the post-holiday hangovers. :(
EITHER THAT or I have evolved into a being that lives time faster than the rest of the world, so that five real seconds is five hours to me. Both are about equally likely, especially knowing my attention span. :\
A-also, I swear the last time I looked at the people who friended me, the number was signifigantly smaller. HI EVERYONE NEW god I feelmore than a little self-conscious right now, ahahaha. Um.
Since I'm about to go on lunch break, let's have a recycled meme. :|b
Ask me about a character and I will give you at least three (3) pieces of my personal fanon for said character. BONUS: with proper encouragement, I will write flashfic to expand any particular point.
And if for some truly bizarre reason people are curious to ask me about anything else at all, JUST HIT ME! o/ I want to get to know all you new people, but even the ones I've friended for filters haven't been posting much very recently. T_____Tb

2. I may be bad for hoping that he and Hansel and Gretel all three stay together and there is DANGEROUS THREESOME. Most of the time, it doesn't worry me though! o/
3. On the other hand I have a vague suspicion that someday, somewhere along the way, someone is going to suggest Julius become Juliana again, because no one other princess is out there for Lui. I like this idea too, even when I'm entertained by the other. \o/

1. This I blame on you: that while stuck in 1969 with Martha, he did in fact try to look up on Susan and himself; he went through all the hoops and hurdles and everything and-- then just never went. It was all the difference of one step and he didn't go.
2. He totally DID keep the horse, just like (I think it was Daives?) said in the commentaries. Gave Martha quite a start when she found it. XD
3. Secretly nurses a shameful fondness for coffee. He talks about tea and its many wonders and benefits, and he does actually like it but -- you know, sometimes, you just need the bigger caffeine jolt. It's also how I think he pulls off the really madcap talking-superfast-and-turning-on-a-dime thing that he does. XD

1. Jayne has something like eight sisters, named things like Bobbie, Billi, Fred, Charlie, etc. He's not the youngest, but he's maybe only one or two from the end.
2. For all his growling and suspicion and grumbling about River, there is a part of him that is sort of ... [handwave] Drawn to her. He's not sure himself if it's an attraction thing or a little-sister thing.
3. Vera is his mother's name. :|b

Re: meme - if no one's asked for him yet, tell me about the Medicine Seller?
From:
no subject
HAHAHAHA MEDICINE SELLER♥
1. I am convinced that he is some sort of minor god -- the fact that it's not even a concern if he'll win or lose once he draws the sword implies a great deal of both power and confidence, which I totally buy.
1a. When I am being super-dorky, I will say that he's the son of Amaterasu and Ushiwaka (from Okami).
2. The Other is less another side of him as the sword itself -- the god theory may apply more to the other, since I think that once the sword is drawn, the spirit inside of it possesses the (unaging, unchanging) body and THAT is what's the white-haired, dark-skinned, mononoke-killing machine. If that makes sense.
3. While he is very disinterested -- for the most part -- in unpossessed normal humans beyond finding them mildly interesting, he does find people and creatures with power approaching or similiar to his own (or a known mononoke) quite fascinating. This is how I justify him in camp. o/
4. A fan of animals. He likes and gets along well with them, unless they're possessed by mononoke, at which point then he kills them in the faaaace.
5. Never changes his clothes through the ages less because "people won't take him seriously as a medicine-seller" (he could care less about that, really) but because he likes the clothes he has. They're comfortable, they're functional, so why bother?
6. His box is sort of like the Luggage, in a way -- he just has to have a need or want of something, and it will be there when he opens the box. Like the sword (the Other), it's kind of symbiotic to his need.

PERSONAL FANON OF CLAIR AND/OR GIOVANNI
From:
no subject
1. I wrote about it in fic, but I am also still convinced that the old Vampire did, in fact, purchase a whore for Clair's first time
with a girl. She was probably also shot after sex, though Clair never cared much to find out.2. Clair grew up with a peculiar mix of adoration and terror; offsetting the constant drilling and testing and studying he went through, he occasionally would be completely coddled and swathed by his father -- one day he wouldn't be allowed to even get water for himself; the next, he'd be sent on a gauntlet through the slums before he'd be allowed to drink.
3. Till the day he dies, Clair will continue to occasionally address Ian and Mitchal, especially for big do-or-die situations. Most of the goons have been briefed to let this go, with the understanding that Giovanni will deal personally with anyone who a) calls him on it, b) mocks him for it or c) suggests he lets it go.

BAN:
1. Is not above (in his own head) thumbing his nose and going neener-neener to any former VOLTS member, but especially the Kings, whenever they meet and Ginji is being exceptionally affectionate and cheerful -- but always comes back to him at the end. BY THE WAY: Ban is happy being a jerk.
2. Until the day he dies, he will never, ever come out and say who won that first fight against Raitei. He'll imply and smirk (as he's been shown), but he won't ever say. Ginji might, if you caught him at the right time, but Ban never will.
3. While his witch-blood isn't powerful enough to revive a dead man by itself (he says at one point that it was because of Lucifer and Maria that he was able to in the first place), it does have a number of healing properties. Somewhere early in his career -- possibly before he met even Yamato and Himiko -- he had an Incident with a man who wanted to steal his blood and make it into a magical cure-all. This may or may not be how Ban got into the whole underground businesses in the first place.
4. In spite of his attitude, there is a part of him that is humbled by Ginji's unwavering faith, and that's what spurs the rest of him (unwilling and bad-tempered as it is) to be worthy of that.

I'd ask you about a Triple Strike character, but I suppose that wouldn't exactly be fanon, would it? ^^;

You can totally ask about a Triple Strike character if you want. It'd be in that gray area between fanon and canon, since I'd have to run it past Sharky first. *g*

As for the fanon meme, uh... wait what you're into Shadow Hearts? I missed that somehow! :D Have anything for Yuri?
From:

AND I LOVE SHADOW HEARTS~ ♥ Second-favorite RPG after Okami♥
1. Some part of Yuri's poor brain made the connection between his mother and Karin pretty much as soon as Anasatia "renamed" her. The rest of him is repressing that terribly.
2. Something I incoprorated from discussions with
3. However, his kids may or may not have been involved with some of the events and politics of WWII, following in their old man's footsteps. This is mostly based on my own not-so-secret desire for a SH4 with more of the same TOTALLY OUT THERE historical fantasy. :D

I'mma give you a choice: Watanuki, Mytho, Soubi, or any of the KH destiny kids. HAVE AT IT ♥
From:
no subject
Let's go with Mytho, 'cos I've never written out fanon for him before! \o/
1. He will not age as time goes by, being a character of a story, created fully-formed. (Rue, however, will.)
2. He only sees Fakir and Ahiru twice before they die -- once when Ahiru becomes a girl again, and the second time after Rue passes. Both times, he never actually says a word to them, just watches and goes on his way.
3. Before he and the Raven left the story, the Prince never changed much; he was very much the one-dimensional "fight bad guys and save noble princesses" sort; it was breaking his heart and regaining it that allowed him to start growing as a person -- and there are times (especially after the end) where he regrets that.
... I wasn't aware that my PT fanon sounded so depressing, said aloud. XD;

1. Doumeki's family is actually pretty gregarious and cheerful; his mother especially is one of those tiny cheerful women who likes to mother anyone who comes within her range. He means to introduce Watanuki one day, just ... hasn't gotten around to it yet.
Doumeki's pretty sure she'll love him, though.
2. He's met Yuuko before, when he was very young and his grandfather was still alive. She told him something very important at that time.
She remembers this. He doesn't.
3. While he can't see things -- even sharing his vision with Watanuki he tends to see things more as dark blurs than the actual creatures they are -- he's always been sensitive to things like hunches or flashes; it's not that he can really see the future, it's more that he knows if he does this certain thing before something else happens, he can ... redirect the flow of events, if only just a little.

1. There is an entire season-and-a-half worth of adventures between the end of The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances and Boom Town. This is totally not counting the adventures and events mentioned in the novels; he and the Doctor and Rose travelled together for quite some time together.
2. Until he met the Doctor, there was pretty much no one Jack couldn't eventually talk into bed with him. For this, among other reasons, he holds the Doctor in a very special place within his heart.
3. There will be a time when he'll travel exclusively with the Doctor again; it won't be for many years, but it'll happen. Knowing this, Jack's not too worried about how the rest of his immortal life will go.
4. SPEAKING of immortality, the Face of Boe thing? Was something done so he could get around his accidental immortality; he found a way out and took it, even if it meant changing -- even Jack Harkness will eventually develop past his infamous insatiable libido.

From:

1. At this point in time, Loki is definitely more interested in having kids than she is. It's definitely on her to-do list, but right now she's far too busy to really worry herself too much about it.
2. She met Hildegarde Jiordson once, when she was very young. She'd never say as much aloud, but she likes Sven a great deal better.
3. She and Ian have been passingly good friends for a long time; he's someone she looks up to immensely as a mentor and example.
AND AS FOR THE MARYUUDO I PICK AMON♥ Though I'd love to hear your thoughts on any of the Shikizoku, really. *g*
1. Amon definitely figured out the parallels between himself and Emishi when he heard Emishi describing his respect and debt to Shido; rather than be jealous, he's glad that Shido had SOMEONE with a sense of humor around.
2. Never been the sort to hold grudges -- never needed to. In spite of his loneliness and the inherent disjoint of being able to kill with a touch, he's a pretty cheerfully zen person.
3. Despite his feelings for Emishi, he wouldn't mind seeing him settle down with a pretty girl -- one, because it means that there'd be cute cute kids to spoil♥ and two, because it means that Emishi is no longer the last of the warrior line.

[thinks] Hmmm...how about Ushiwaka from Okami?
From:
no subject
1. He served as in Princess Kaguya's court, not so much as her oracle as her righthand man and advisor; he was the one she most often went to for advice before they fled the moon and before the disaster that sent them crashing to earth.
2. In his youth, for a time, was a disciple of the Yami-no-Sumeragi. It wasn't that unusual for those of the Moon-Tribe to follow his teachings. He was never forgiven for converting to Amaterasu's ways instead, hence why he survived when none of the gods did when the Ark fell: punishment for his "betrayal."
3. He had one son with Amaterasu, one to whom he eventually passed on his sword.

1. Zuko has the potential to become a great and extraordinary leader, if he'd just learn a little moderation and patience. His tendency to obsess is really what's holding him back the most.
2. For nearly a year after his mother disappeared, Zuko really did honestly believe she'd come back someday. It took Azula essentially grinding his face into it that she was gone forever.
3. What the boy really needs, more than anything else, is a hug without any agenda or purpose behind it, and then a good solid thwack to the head. More personal opinion than fanon, but I would be glad to see Iroh do this, so very much. :|b

Any thoughts on Kurogane?
From:
no subject
I HAVE LOTS OF THOUGHTS ON KUROGANE RIGHT NOW. Cough.
1. Intends to someday reclaim Suwa and return it to a place where people can live peacefully. It's on his list of Things To Do Before Dying, though below "Kill the bastard that killed my mother" and "make sure Princess Tomoyo is safe." Actually it's towards the bottom of his list, but it's still definitely there.
2. Finished his schooling, as a boy, alongside Tomoyo at Amaterasu's direction. He may not be the brains or all that academic, but he's had a good and thorough education.
3. Despite his attitude, he's probably more patient than anyone else of the TRC main cast. Certainly he's the one who can stay still the longest -- even so, he does prefer the most direct means of doing things.
4. Conversely, he HATES dancing around issues or skirting tihngs, especially when they are so obviously in your face. He'd much rather punch an issue in the face, then go home and have a quiet night NOT WORRYING ABOUT STUPID THINGS.
5. Thing is, Kurogane does prefer women. He really does. Somehow, though, he never does get around to kicking Fay out.

Ed. Orrr, PW character of your choice. :D
From:
no subject
WE'LL TRY ANYWAY! o/ With Ed!
1. Ed's probably what one would term "alchemysexual" -- he's been aware of the workings and knowings of the human body (and what two people can do together) since he was six; ten years later, though, he only knows and is interested in it in a purely academic sense.
2. There's honestly absolutely nothing he wouldn't do for Al. The leg and arm and the heart he offered before are just small fry -- there's literally nothing he wouldn't do, ever.
3. Ed tends to forget his own age on a regular basis -- not so much a "oh, haha, I'm turning sixteen this year" sort of way; more that he literally cannot remember his age because while Al always tries to celebrate his birthday in some small way, Ed has bigger and (he thinks) more important things to think about all the time.

I most certainly wouldn't mind if you did him again for this one, but I'm posting to ask you if you could tell me where do you read manga. You see, though I love tatics and Ludwig Kakumei, I only ever read the 1st chapter of tatics (and failed to find it again afterwards, I made do with the anime), and as for Ludwig, I've only found the first two volumes (without the Bluebeard story, unfortunately). It seems people around here have got much farther, so, if it wouldn't be too much trouble...
From:

As for where I get my manga, well -- I live about fifteen minutes away from a Kinokuniya, so I buy my manga in Japanese. XD; That's how I've kept up with both the tactics and the Ludwig Kakumei manga. I don't know any scanlating groups that are doing either tactics or Ludwig right now though, sorry. :\
